The studs on the vehicle MUST be shorter than 1ΒΌ before the adapters can be installed. If the studs extend beyond the face of the first adapter, they need to be trimmed or cut. If there are clips or retaining rings on the vehicle’s studs, they must be removed. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician using proper tools. It is recommended that the lug nuts are installed manually, instead of with an impact gun or other electronic tool. Your vehicle may have wheel studs with a different thread pitch than the lug nuts supplied with these wheel spacers. Lug nuts with a matching thread pitch are needed for proper installation. We recommend reinstalling and tightening all lug nuts after 50 miles, and again after 1500 miles. Following your vehicle owner’s manual, properly raise the vehicle and support it using adequately load-rated jackstands. Remove wheels and inspect rotors for any damage or cracks. If any damage is identified, don’t continue with this installation. Remove any wheel visible rust from the mating flange on the vehicle’s rotor. Check both the rotor and wheel mounting flanges for burns, rivet heads, or other obstructions which could prevent proper seating of the spacer/adapter. If proper seating can be achieved, apply provided thread locker to the vehicle’s studs and mount the wheel spacers onto the rotor by torquing the provided wheel spacers/adapter lug nuts. (No screw glue in our package). Tighten all lug nuts to the appropriate torque specification using a torque wrench. Install wheel onto wheel spacer using existing lug nuts. DO NOT USE AN IMPACT WRENCH. Check that wheel and tire clearance allow for full steering(lock-to-lock). If no problrm, the vehicle can be lowered. Clean the studs thoroughly and remove any excess dirt, oil, grease, etc. Highly recommended use a torque wrench while installing wheel spacers.
