The tire’s tread compound was made with silica to ensure safe all weather traction. The tread design grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather and it maintains constant road grip. The special tread design features four circumferential grooves, numerous lateral grooves and a detailed siping design. These evacuate water away from the tire footprint and actively prevent hydroplaning situations. This improves the all weather driving safety greatly. The silica-enhanced tire compound also makes the tire more fuel efficient. It lowers the tire’s overall weight and, by doing so, it reduces the rolling resistance.
